How to circulate embodied knowledge and PAR / BRP between the fields of arts, humanities and sciences?

This project deals with the ontological, methodological and epistemological issues raised by the Practice Based Research (PBR) and Practice As Research (PAR) methods through a multidisciplinary perspective focused on the relationships between the body, society and technologies.
The objective is to keep an eye on the most important theoretical questions of the PBR / PAR as well as those that will emerge during the activities set up by the laboratory. The questions asked will include:
- How to circulate embodied knowledge and PAR / BRP between the fields of arts, humanities and sciences?
- In what way does the bodily involvement of the researcher modify our conception of the field?
- What ethical considerations must be taken into account in the context of body motion capture?
In addition, researchers and artists will consider what it means to "participate" and "collaborate" from an epistemological and methodological point of view by comparing their experiences in their respective disciplines. From an academic point of view, this implies questioning the way the subjects of doctoral theses can be shared in the future between the disciplines in the French university system.
