Writing theater from surveys: protocols and approaches of Compagnie Babel

Since it was founded in 2008, Compagnie Babel has created shows "based on interviews [conducted] with residents, professionals and experts during immersions and long-term surveys of territories". His theater has a documentary dimension, but this only partially defines it, since it incorporates fictional elements. For Élise Chatauret and Thomas Pondevie, "to be faithful is not to reproduce, but to translate in order to make words audible". The workshop will allow us to immerse ourselves in the company's investigative protocols and creative process, and to address the ethical issues they raise.
